Senior Strategic Finance Analyst (SaaS/FP&A): Delivering financial and operational insights, forecasts, executive reporting, and strategic analysis for a high-growth SaaS organization with an accent on financial modeling, SaaS metrics, and AI-enabled workflows. Focus on analyzing ARR, MRR, churn, retention, CAC, LTV, and gross margin, translating complex datasets into recommendations, and improving forecasting and reporting efficiency.
Location: Sydney or Melbourne; hybrid workplace

What you will do
- Deliver financial and operational insights supporting growth, efficiency, and profitability goals.
- Develop business cases, investment analyses, and strategic initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly performance analysis against budget.
- Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership teams.
- Monitor and analyze ARR, MRR, churn, retention, CAC, LTV, gross margin, and other SaaS metrics.
- Use automation and AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting, reporting, and decision-making.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in analytical or strategic finance roles, preferably in investment banking, FP&A, or B2B SaaS strategic finance.
- Experience building financial models and conducting ad hoc analysis that turns complex business problems into actionable recommendations.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and strong financial modeling capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, attention-to-detail, and communication skills.
- Comfort using AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar for modeling, analysis, and reporting workflows.
