Senior FP&A Analyst (AI)

Location: Montreal, Canada; hybrid with 1 day in the office

What you will do

• Build and maintain the core integrated three-statement and operating financial models, including scenario and sensitivity layers.
• Integrate budgets into the model and own the accuracy, cleanliness, and integrity of financial outputs and assumptions.
• Build acquisition valuations, due-diligence scenarios, pro-forma combined-entity models, and consolidated models for completed acquisitions.
• Drive analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews for senior management, the board, and investors.
• Diagnose SaaS and business-metric movements, identify the relevant operating levers, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Use AI and spreadsheet automation to reduce recurring work and improve data validation while applying judgment to manual analysis.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of integrated three-statement and operating financial models and the accounting supporting them, including SaaS revenue recognition and cost treatment.
• Experience with bottom-up short-term forecasting, driver-based long-term modeling, and SaaS unit economics.
• Knowledge of acquisition valuation, purchase accounting, combined-entity projections, and post-acquisition model integration.
• Deep understanding of business revenue drivers, cost structures, and operating levers.
• Strong command of Google Sheets and Excel, with close awareness of AI and automation capabilities and limitations.
