ServiceNow Development Engineer (HRSD)

Location: On site in Austin, TX or Southlake, TX. Applicants must be authorized to work full time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: USD $112,300–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Develop and configure scalable ServiceNow HR Service Delivery solutions for tens of thousands of users.
• Implement server-side and client-side scripting, workflows, data models, and case management capabilities.
• Translate requirements from product owners and HR partners into standards-aligned technical solutions.
• Support REST APIs, system integrations, automation, testing, quality assurance, and release processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform reliability, usability, compliance, and scalability.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience, including production application support.
• At least 2 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow scripting, workflows, data models, HRSD or case management solutions, and REST integrations.
• Experience resolving moderately complex technical issues in live environments and applying security, compliance, and scalability practices.
• Experience supporting testing, quality assurance, release management, and structured enterprise development lifecycles.
• Current US work authorization without employer sponsorship and willingness to work on site in Austin or Southlake are required.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow HRSD experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Experience with Now Assist or similar platform automation tools.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with HR systems such as Workday.
• Strong analytical thinking and experience implementing process improvements.
