Associate Merchant (Retail)

Salary: $87,600–$131,500 per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Analyze retail assortments, category performance, customer trends, and market research.
• Develop and coordinate promotional plans across direct mail, digital, social, and in-store marketing.
• Evaluate the effects of pricing, promotions, store placement, merchandising, and new product launches.
• Collaborate with product development, brand, packaging, inventory, and space-planning teams.
• Build business plans and provide recommendations to improve sales, gross profit, and organizational processes.
• Prioritize and track multiple projects, communicate with stakeholders, and present recommendations to business leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in product merchandising, product management, retail, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Ability to work in a general office environment, including extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, keyboard use, and reading from screens; ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
