Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Full-time night shift, 7:00 p.m.β7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends.
Salary: $38.50β$61.60 per hour.

What you will do
- Coordinate nursing care and daily operations for a 26-bed, fast-paced medical intermediate unit serving patients with complex medical conditions, postoperative needs, and clinical instability.
- Assess patient acuity and staff competency to assign care, coordinate patient placement, and maintain safe staffing throughout each shift.
- Monitor patient conditions, documentation, critical care elements, regulatory compliance, life-safety standards, equipment, charges, and staffing records.
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nurses and patient care staff while conducting huddles, rounding, coaching, and staff development activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, managers, educators, clinical placement staff, patients, families, and other units to maintain effective care delivery.
- Support quality improvement, evidence-based practice, patient satisfaction initiatives, cost effectiveness, and regulatory readiness.
Requirements
- BSN and at least 3 years of RN experience.
- Active RN license in the State of Illinois required.
- American Heart Association BLS and telemetry competency required.
- Basic computer knowledge, effective written and verbal communication in English, and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to practice within the Illinois Practice Act for Nursing and ANA Standards of Professional Nursing Practice.
- Ability to assess when an interpreter is needed and use interpreter services effectively.
Nice to have
- Master of Science in Nursing.
- Two or more years of pertinent medical-surgical experience.
- Cert NRN or specialty certification such as CV-RN, CHFN, CCRN, PCCN, CNML, or NE-BC.
- Ability to obtain a required specialty certification within two years.
