What you will do

• Assess patients and families, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Provide emergency nursing care, respond to changes in condition, notify physicians or supervisors, and document interventions.
• Lead professional practice by assigning and delegating work, supervising LPNs and support staff, and serving in charge roles.
• Participate in interdisciplinary clinical care, patient safety, quality, evidence-based practice, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Mentor peers, share clinical knowledge, provide feedback, and support continuous professional learning.
• Work rotating shifts with 24/7 coverage and accept assignments outside the primary unit within demonstrated competency.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania RN license or current multi-state license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Registered nurse qualifications suitable for emergency department practice.
• Certification in the relevant specialty.
• One year of travel nursing experience.
• Act 34 criminal background clearance, Act 33 child abuse clearance, and Act 73 FBI fingerprinting clearance.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
