Electrical Design Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; flexible hybrid workplace model.

Salary: $149,000–$206,000 USD annually, plus equity and other rewards.

What you will do

• Design power, control, mixed-signal, and high-speed interconnect circuits for system requirements.
• Apply signal integrity, power integrity, design-for-excellence, and industry practices to meet performance and quality targets.
• Perform board bring-up, verification, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Develop test plans to characterize and validate board and system performance.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, component vendors, contract manufacturers, and other partners from concept through production.
• Research components, processes, and technologies while maintaining design notes, test reports, and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in schematic design using Altium or an equivalent tool; Altium is preferred.
• Experience with laboratory experiments, board bring-up, testing, and analysis.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management processes and tools; Arena is preferred.
• Ability to comply with U.S. federally mandated export control requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrical systems in networking or similar industries.
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, or SerDes.
• Familiarity with signal integrity, power integrity, and design-for-excellence considerations.
• Experience with Python or scripting for test automation and laboratory tooling.
