Technical Lead V (ETRM Architecture & Commodity Trading Systems)

What you will do

• Design application architecture for large-scale, multi-module ETRM solutions and enterprise integrations.
• Break down business and functional requirements into architecture, configuration, and implementation deliverables.
• Create system design models, architecture diagrams, data flow charts, and technical specifications.
• Lead end-to-end OpenLink Endur implementations, upgrades, and enhancements across Front, Mid, and Back Office domains.
• Drive object-oriented system design, custom scripting, workflow automation, and comprehensive testing.
• Advise leadership on technology standards and collaborate with traders, risk managers, business stakeholders, and IT teams on deal modeling, settlements, and P&L reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 15+ years of professional IT or software engineering experience, including substantial specialization in enterprise trading and risk management platforms.
• OpenLink Endur V25 or higher experience and a proven record of leading at least one full-lifecycle ETRM implementation through go-live.
• Deep expertise in US power and gas, greenhouse gas, and resource adequacy trading and settlement lifecycles.
• At least two years of dedicated experience in a Front, Mid, or Back Office domain, plus relational databases, MS SQL, PL/SQL, and an object-oriented programming language.
• Working knowledge of Endur JVS, Open Components, Deal Modeling, G-Motion, reference data, risk valuation, invoicing, and reporting modules.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ISO power markets including MISO, PJM, CAISO, and ERCOT.
• Experience with physical electricity contracts, financial swaps, variable-volume offtake agreements, load agreements, FTRs, and bilateral trades.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder-alignment skills.
