Global Specialized Domain Expert Recruiter (AI)

Location: Fully remote; open to recruiters based in Latin America, Mexico, Europe, and beyond. The role is independent contractor work with a flexible schedule. hirify.global's San Francisco tech hub operates on a separate hybrid model and is not a requirement for this role.

What you will do

• Run targeted outbound sourcing campaigns for hard-to-reach subject matter experts.
• Recruit PhDs, researchers, professors, and senior professionals across scientific computing, cybersecurity, quantitative finance, engineering, mathematics, healthcare, legal, and other technical fields.
• Build and manage pipelines of niche, high-caliber experts for current and future projects.
• Assess candidates for technical depth, professional achievements, and communication skills.
• Communicate opportunities, build relationships with senior professionals, and guide candidates from outreach through placement.
• Work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment on a self-managed schedule.

Requirements

• Proven experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition.
• Experience with outbound sourcing through LinkedIn, academic institutions, research communities, professional associations, GitHub, conferences, or other niche networks.
• Ability to identify and engage PhDs, researchers, faculty, and senior industry experts.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with performance-based compensation.
• Excellent written communication skills for engaging professionals across cultures and time zones.
• Based in Latin America, Mexico, Europe, or a comparable region and able to work fully remotely.

Nice to have

• Experience recruiting research, academic, scientific, engineering, healthcare, legal, cybersecurity, quantitative finance, or other specialized talent.
• Success sourcing PhDs, researchers, or other difficult-to-reach expert populations.
• Agency recruiting, executive search, or commission-based recruiting experience.
• Familiarity with AI, reinforcement learning, or data annotation workflows.
