Fractional Microsoft AI & Copilot Ecosystem Specialist

Location: Remote from Mexico City, São Paulo, Panama City, Buenos Aires, Santiago, or Montevideo

Salary: USD $50 per hour; approximately 10–20 hours per month on an advisory retainer

What you will do

• Join sales and discovery conversations with CIOs, IT leaders, and enterprise stakeholders.
• Advise on Microsoft AI ecosystem strategy across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Scope Copilot activation sprints and assess delivery approach, technical feasibility, and adoption planning.
• Design and guide agentic workflows using Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Review client proposals and recommendations for enterprise readiness and alignment with Microsoft capabilities.
• Advise on governance, compliance, security, change management, Microsoft partnerships, and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Advanced academic background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Organizational Behavior, or a related technology-focused field; a PhD is preferred and a Master’s degree is considered.
• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, Teams, and SharePoint in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing or deploying agentic workflows with Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of enterprise governance, compliance, security, and change management for large Microsoft deployments.
• Ability to advise CIOs, IT leaders, digital workplace leaders, and enterprise transformation teams with strong architectural judgment.
• Excellent English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Former Microsoft employment, Microsoft MVP designation, or experience within a Microsoft systems integrator or partner ecosystem.
• Experience with enterprise Copilot adoption, licensing activation, usage expansion, and business-value realization programs.
