Contract Microsoft Foundry AI Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and configure AI agents using Microsoft Foundry.
• Develop integrations between Foundry agents, applications, APIs, SDKs, external services, and existing technology platforms.
• Use Azure AI services and generative AI technologies to deliver production-ready business solutions.
• Develop and test LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows.
• Apply software engineering practices including testing, version control, and CI/CD.
• Troubleshoot and optimize AI applications for performance, reliability, and scalability while working with engineers and architects.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience, ideally with Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or closely related Azure AI technologies.
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, or AI agents.
• Experience developing integrations with APIs and SDKs.
• Programming experience in Python or TypeScript.
• Understanding of cloud-based application development and modern engineering practices.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI agents or agentic workflows.
• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or Azure AI Search.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM application evaluation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of containers, microservices, or serverless technologies.
