Senior Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, with a hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $185,000–$230,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Build and own foundational data models supporting self-serve analytics and key business metrics.
• Design, operate, and scale reliable data pipelines and data platforms.
• Partner with Growth, Product, Sales, Marketing, Data Insights, and Engineering teams to create trusted data products.
• Influence data collection and logging standards across production systems.
• Establish best practices for data modeling, quality, and governance.
• Implement data quality checks, statistical validation, and anomaly detection while providing technical leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Expertise with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and using workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or dbt.
• Experience with data modeling, analytical workloads, and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• Experience working in fast-paced technology, AI, or SaaS environments.
