What you will do

• Design, develop, and own scalable Reverse ETL pipelines using Census, Workato, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Integrate transformed data with SaaS applications such as Salesforce and Zendesk, including API rate limits, webhooks, observability, and error resolution.
• Administer and scale Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud, including permissions, provisioning, extract scheduling, and performance tuning.
• Build internal Retool applications integrated with Snowflake, REST APIs, and third-party systems.
• Integrate generative AI APIs and AI components into internal tools to automate workflows and deliver summarized or predictive insights.
• Automate data workflows, CI/CD, monitoring, governance, security, and performance optimization across cloud-based data infrastructure.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in BI engineering, analytics engineering, or IT infrastructure supporting data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, GitHub, dbt, SQL, Python, Fivetran, Census, and Workato.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools, workflow orchestration, data modeling, and ad hoc analytics.
• Understanding of IAM, access control, data quality, lineage, governance, and compliance.
• Experience integrating REST APIs for LLMs into data pipelines or Retool applications.
• Ability to work with stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or GCP, serverless functions, storage, orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
• Retool application development and maintenance experience.
• Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud infrastructure management experience.
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex or other AI and machine learning functions in a data warehouse.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
