What you will do

• Own end-to-end data pipelines covering ingestion, dbt transformations, BigQuery warehousing, and delivery to Omni reporting.
• Audit and consolidate Segment, Hevo, BigQuery, and Omni into a trustworthy single source of truth.
• Build dbt models with testing, documentation, data contracts, observability, and reliability practices.
• Own product analytics, including instrumentation, event tracking, usage models, adoption metrics, and reporting.
• Partner with GTM operations, product, and marketing to support AI automation, reporting, and external research.
• Prepare foundations for high-volume and streaming ingestion, including telemetry and OpenTelemetry.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience building and owning production data pipelines.
• Proficiency with dbt, BigQuery or an equivalent cloud data warehouse, and ETL/ELT tooling.
• Strong SQL and proficiency in a general-purpose programming language such as Python.
• Solid data modeling judgment with a focus on quality, testing, and reliability.
• Ability to rationalize complex data environments and collaborate with non-engineering stakeholders.
• Fluent English required; critical, hands-on use of AI in engineering is expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-volume or streaming systems such as ClickHouse or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with CDP or ETL tools such as Segment or Hevo.
• Previous startup experience.
