Manager - Retail Strategy (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid work in San Francisco, CA; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL; or Lone Tree, CO

Salary: USD 95,000–145,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead high-priority retail strategy projects from problem definition through implementation planning.
• Frame complex business challenges and develop fact-based strategic recommendations.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of market trends, competitive dynamics, and business performance.
• Develop executive-ready presentations and storytelling to support leadership decisions.
• Build alignment across cross-functional stakeholders and advise senior leaders on strategic priorities.
• Coach analytical workstreams and use AI and productivity tools to improve research, analysis, and deliverable quality.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• 3–6 years of full-time experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, financial services, investment banking, or a related strategic function.
• Experience leading or supporting complex strategic problem-solving initiatives and developing strategic recommendations.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, stakeholder management, and executive communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience using AI and productivity tools to improve efficiency, research, analysis, and deliverable quality.

Nice to have

• Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, financial services, wealth management, banking, or capital markets.
• Familiarity with financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and investment concepts.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership teams.
• Mentoring, coaching, or reviewing the work of others.
• Knowledge of operating model design, growth strategy, market assessments, or organizational transformation.
