Salary: $127,000β$158,700 annual base compensation, plus bonus or variable incentive pay.

What you will do
- Research, develop, maintain, and support thermodynamic and transport property modeling software.
- Design engineering software for flash algorithms, data regression, property estimation, and related chemical and petroleum industry applications.
- Investigate emerging technologies from industry and academia for integration into software applications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in physical property calculations and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to translate customer needs into application solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industrial or academic experience developing thermodynamic or transport property models.
- Strong coding skills in C++, C, or FORTRAN.
- Masterβs degree in Chemical Engineering; a PhD is preferred.
- Experience in process engineering and optimization, including practical experience with Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
