Senior Platform Software Engineer (AI)

Location: United States (Remote)

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 USD at Senior level or $180,000–$230,000 USD at Staff level; location-based salary bands also include CAD ranges.

hirify.global operates an open, auditable agent-to-agent advertising marketplace built on the AdCP protocol, connecting advertisers, agencies, publishers, and platforms across digital advertising surfaces.

What you will do

• Improve engineering productivity through internal tooling, automation, developer workflows, and reusable infrastructure.
• Design and maintain scalable build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment infrastructure.
• Improve the performance and health of the monorepo, shared libraries, services, and local development workflows.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and partner with engineers on platform improvements.
• Contribute production code to the AI-native advertising marketplace, including scalable APIs and distributed systems for human users and AI agents.
• Participate in architecture discussions covering agent communication, authentication, marketplace infrastructure, and emerging AI frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent experience building and operating production systems.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience.
• Hands-on use of AI tools in engineering workflows, with demonstrated impact on development and productivity.
• Experience designing scalable systems, developer infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, or developer tooling.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and API design, including diagnosing performance issues across applications and infrastructure.
• Ability to own projects from concept through production and collaborate across platform and product engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with Turborepo, Nx, or large monorepo architectures.
• Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform or AWS experience.
• GitHub Actions and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or flame graphs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, BigQuery, AI-enabled products, agent frameworks, or MCP servers.
