CAD Administrator (Creo/Windchill)

Location: Hybrid position based in Fremont, California, United States. All roles are U.S.-based, and applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States.

Salary: $159,000–$206,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Manage Creo and Windchill infrastructure, including servers, patches, user accounts, licenses, vault structures, workflows, permissions, metadata, and revision processes.
• Own ECAD integration with Altium or an equivalent tool, including PCB and harness part libraries.
• Maintain Windchill PDM standards, product structures, eBOM/mBOM alignment, options, variants, reporting tools, and ECR/ECN change-management processes.
• Optimize CAD data flow into ERP and manufacturing systems to support accurate and efficient production transfers.
• Define and enforce CAD modeling standards, Creo templates, drawing practices, release workflows, and enterprise CAD libraries.
• Coach, train, and onboard engineering systems users while collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of hands-on experience with Creo and Windchill administration and user support.
• Advanced Creo expertise in parametric part and assembly modeling, large assemblies, top-down design, configurations, manufacturing drawings, and BOM workflows.
• Experience defining and enforcing MCAD standards, templates, modeling methodologies, documentation, and release workflows in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of design-to-manufacturing workflows, PLM/BOM requirements, CAD exports, release packages, and production readiness.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or technically directing CAD/MCAD engineers, designers, or engineering systems users.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• PTC-certified Windchill Administration experience and PLM configuration or customization experience.
• Experience with Altium CoDesigner or similar ECAD/MCAD integration tools, and NetSuite.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14 drafting standards.
• Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, templates, engineering guides, and training materials.
• Experience supporting CAD and PLM systems in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
