Senior Software Engineer, Product Experiences (React)

Location: San Francisco or Washington, D.C.; hybrid work with four days in the office each week

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 annually, plus benefits, potential equity, and potential bonus

What you will do

• Build and own user-facing capabilities across Search, Dossier, Charts, Dashboards, Maps, Network, Table, Workspace, Docs, Automations, and Mobile.
• Develop search and semantic discovery experiences across billions of records.
• Design Dossier views that assemble complete, on-demand profiles of entities.
• Create real-time collaborative experiences for maps, networks, and other complex workflows.
• Deliver AI-powered capabilities with transparent sources and trustworthy user experiences.
• Collaborate with design, product management, deployment teams, engineers, and users to ship and iterate on production features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
• Professional or open-source experience shipping and iterating on production-grade, user-facing software.
• Strong frontend fundamentals with React and TypeScript, plus the ability to work full-stack.
• Experience writing robust, well-tested, well-designed software for frequent deployment.
• Understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems and navigating large codebases.
• Must be located in San Francisco or Washington, D.C. and open to working in the office four days per week.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Python, Django, Celery, Airflow, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Mapbox, AWS, Pulumi, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
