Senior/Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: New York City, hybrid; typically in-office 3–4 days per week

Salary: $215,000–$265,000 per year plus equity

hirify.global is an agentic law company that develops proprietary no-code software tools for building and supervising domain-specific AI agents. Its affiliated AI-native law firm, Norm Law, uses the platform to deliver legal services.

What you will do

• Design matter-management and task-tracking workflows for attorneys, partners, and legal operators.
• Work with Norm Law users to understand how matters progress, where work gets stuck, and what requires better visibility.
• Define which legal activities should be automated, assisted by AI, or remain under attorney control.
• Prototype rapidly using code, Cursor, Claude Design, and other AI-assisted tools.
• Partner with engineering and product from problem definition through product delivery.
• Help evolve the design system and product patterns as the software expands.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience shipping real products with strong interaction, visual, and systems craft.
• Experience working closely with users and translating complex context into clear product decisions.
• Strong judgment about structure, friction reduction, and preserving human control.
• A build-first approach with rapid prototyping and early testing.
• Intentional, hands-on use of AI to improve design workflows and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience designing legal, healthcare, finance, or other expert professional workflows.
• Experience with project management, CRM, case management, or systems-of-record products.
• Comfort with Git, code, or version-controlled prototyping workflows.
• Experience contributing to or scaling a design system.
• Meaningful code contributions outside of prototyping, including pushing a pull request.
