Senior Lead Product Designer (AI)

Location: On-site in Seattle, Washington, United States. On-site requirements vary by position and team.

Salary: $161,280–$241,920 base salary, plus bonus plans.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design process for complex, multi-surface AI products, from user research and information architecture through interaction design, prototyping, and visual polish.
• Translate complex technical and research concepts into simple, discoverable, and intuitive user experiences.
• Design interaction flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and other modern tools.
• Expand the UX design system, patterns, components, and unified design language across products, demos, and research projects.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and leadership to shape product strategy and long-term user experience direction.
• Evaluate AI-based design tools and develop mechanisms that improve design collaboration, velocity, and quality.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in UX, product, or interaction design for complex digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating modern, user-centered design with measurable product impact and strong visual design.
• Expertise in end-to-end product design, problem framing, and polished UI execution.
• Proficiency in Figma, research and prototyping tools, and AI tools for rapid prototyping and iteration.
• Understanding of user-centered design, accessibility, responsive design, and methods for simplifying complex systems.
• Exceptional communication skills and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience designing developer tools, AI interfaces, or data-heavy applications.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, user analytics, quantitative validation methods, business metrics, adoption, and engagement.
