Electrical I Journeyman

Location: Onsite at the Taber, Alberta, Canada plant

What you will do

• Install electrical systems and components.
• Inspect and maintain existing electrical systems for functionality and safety.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues and respond efficiently to production line calls.
• Perform preventive maintenance electrical testing, adjustments, and non-routine maintenance work.
• Document work in SAP and update the computerized maintenance management system with work-order results.
• Maintain organized workspaces, tools, documentation, and 5S standards.

Requirements

• English communication skills are required to understand written and oral instructions and communicate effectively.
• Ability to qualify within the time frames established by the facility.
• Basic math, computer operation, data entry, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
• Preferred qualification: Journeyman Electrician ticket.
