Software Developer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Oakville, Ontario office

Compensation: $94,200–$117,700 per year

What you will do

• Build front-end web applications and back-end services end-to-end, from detailed designs through production-ready user experiences.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and agentic frameworks, including Claude-powered agents, to write, test, and review code.
• Develop tests and delivery metrics while monitoring real-time platform performance.
• Partner with product and support teams from early solution design through launch.
• Contribute through code reviews, documentation, knowledge sharing, and transparent escalation of tooling or agent-workflow issues.
• Apply SDLC and security best practices to hand-written and agent-produced code.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience shipping robust solutions with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, or a comparable language.
• At least 1 year of practical experience implementing AI solutions in a business environment, with exposure to agentic frameworks or LLM-based systems.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and tool integrations, including integrations for LLM-based systems.
• Experience with one or more of Node.js, React, TypeScript, AngularJS, PHP, Python, or MySQL.
• Comfort with cloud environments such as AWS, SQL, Git, JIRA, and agile workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jest, Mocha, Playwright, axe, or other web testing and accessibility tools.
• Familiarity with prompt design, MCP integration, or agent orchestration.
• Experience in a B2B or B2G SaaS product environment.
• Strong attention to UI quality and user experience details.
