Senior Full Stack Developer (Java, React, AWS)

Location: New York, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $100,000–$118,000 yearly, plus possible variable compensation.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build REST APIs and microservices-based solutions.
• Develop and deploy applications in AWS environments.
• Translate business and technical requirements into reliable solutions with stakeholders.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile development, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior developers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Strong SQL and database development skills.
• Experience with Agile development and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, Redshift, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data integration, data warehousing, analytics, or reporting platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Experience in financial services environments.
