Actuarial Analyst (Medicare Advantage)

What you will do

• Perform quantitative analyses supporting financial forecasting, medical cost analysis, revenue optimization, reserving, pricing, risk adjustment, and value-based care.
• Develop and maintain actuarial and statistical models using large healthcare datasets.
• Partner with actuaries and business leaders to investigate trends and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for planning and performance monitoring.
• Analyze medical costs, revenue drivers, utilization trends, and risk adjustment performance across the Medicare Advantage business.
• Improve processes and automate analyses using SQL, Excel, Python, and AI analytical tools while participating in rotational assignments.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare finance, analytics, actuarial work, consulting, strategy, operations, or a related field.
• Successful completion of one or more Society of Actuaries exams.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• SQL and Excel skills are required.
• Ability to work with large datasets and translate complex analyses into actionable business insights.

Nice to have

• Experience in Medicare Advantage, managed care, or value-based healthcare.
• Experience with Python, R, AI tools, GitHub, and business intelligence platforms.
