Location: Remote anywhere in the USA; occasional travel to offices for training or meetings may be required.
Salary: $129,300–$177,800 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do
- Analyze medical claims trends and identify drivers affecting utilization, costs, financial performance, and business outcomes.
- Develop and execute data integrity, accuracy, and consistency controls for actuarial analysis and reporting.
- Forecast financial, economic, and business data to support strategic and operational planning.
- Apply actuarial models and industry knowledge to assess short-, medium-, and long-term financial and competitive positions.
- Present actuarial findings, assumptions, metrics, and recommendations to business stakeholders, leaders, and executives.
- Troubleshoot data anomalies, perform root cause analyses, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
- Must be located in the USA and able to work remotely from a dedicated, interruption-free home workspace.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in the USA.
- Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
- FSA, or ASA plus experience in Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, or commercial insurance.
- Experience across more than three actuarial functions, such as modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting, reserving, or trending.
- Strong actuarial analysis, complex data interpretation, and stakeholder presentation skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree and healthcare actuarial experience.
- Experience with SAS, SQL, Snowflake, or comparable analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience with medical claims trend analysis, forecasting, business intelligence, or financial analysis in managed care.
- Experience documenting actuarial communications in accordance with ASOP 41.

- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week during typical Monday–Friday business hours.
