IT Support Specialist (Retail Technology)

Location: Onsite at the new store on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Varied store hours may extend up to 3 AM, with weekend and holiday availability required.

What you will do

• Act as the first point of contact for employee computer and system-related concerns.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network equipment.
• Support workstation network software, desktop connections, printing and scanning devices, and presentation equipment.
• Assist with new computer projects and hardware installations in collaboration with the Director of Technology.
• Coordinate with third-party support providers and equipment vendors when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware, internal components, current operating systems, protocols, and technical standards.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and equipment support experience.
• Ability to work onsite in a retail store environment, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to obtain a Missouri Cannabis Agent Card and complete the state fingerprinting process; initial costs are reimbursed by hirify.global.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, background-check eligibility, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
