Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Remote within the United States; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future. Listed location: McLean, VA.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage assigned requisitions through the full recruiting lifecycle, from intake and sourcing through interviews and offer coordination.
• Partner with hiring managers, recruiters, and Talent Acquisition leadership to define hiring needs and candidate profiles.
• Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing platforms, internal databases, referrals, and other channels.
• Conduct recruiter screens, evaluate candidates, and present qualified applicants with clear recruiting notes and recommendations.
• Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, offer preparation, follow-up, and closing activities.
• Maintain ATS records, recruiting metrics, candidate pipelines, and information for recurring, anticipated, and proposal-related hiring needs.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience in an agency, in-house, RPO, staffing, or similar environment.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions, sourcing candidates with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools, and working in an ATS.
• Experience conducting candidate screens or participating in candidate evaluation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to learn recruiting processes, technologies, and hiring requirements in a remote environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience recruiting for technology, software engineering, product, design, data, DevOps, or other technical roles.
• Experience with federal government contracting, proposal recruiting, contingent hiring, or pre-award talent pipelines.
• Experience partnering directly with hiring managers or working with structured qualification requirements.
• Experience with ClearCompany or a similar ATS; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
