Location: Remote; authorization to work in the United States is required. Candidates requiring sponsorship for a work-authorized visa will not be considered.
Annual base salary: $160,000β$180,000.

What you will do
- Lead strategic growth, capture, and market expansion for Department of War defense consulting and engineering advisory services.
- Develop account plans, relationship maps, opportunity strategies, and structured capture pipelines aligned with measurable growth objectives.
- Analyze PWS, SOW, and RFP requirements, competitive intelligence, pricing insights, and evaluation priorities to shape pursuits.
- Identify customer pain points, mission needs, funding paths, and emerging requirements before the RFI/RFP stage.
- Build relationships with DoW decision-makers, acquisition leaders, program offices, mission stakeholders, primes, subcontractors, and technology partners.
- Translate capabilities in systems safety, software safety, mission engineering, SE&I, MBSE, digital engineering, T&E, and autonomous systems safety into clear mission value.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a Secret-level security clearance.
- 12β15+ years of relevant and progressive experience in federal business development, capture management, or DoD/DoW leadership, preferably with recent US Army acquisition experience.
- At least 3 years developing high-impact business development strategies, roadmaps, and pipelines that produced significant business expansion.
- At least 3 years collaborating with executives on resource prioritization, budget management, and gated go/no-go pursuit decisions.
- Proven capture and business development performance in high-end government engineering services, including A&AS and SETA.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition pathways, including OTAs, SBIR/STTR, and major contract vehicles.
- Established relationships within US Army Ground modernization communities.
- Experience as a solutions architect communicating differentiated SE&I, MS&A, T&E, software development, digital engineering, acquisition, and mission engineering capabilities.
