Software Developer (AI)

Location: On-site in Austin, Texas or Southlake, Texas

Salary: USD $55.29–$69.71 per hour, plus eligible bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Design and deliver production-ready platforms and services that help engineering teams build, govern, and scale AI-powered solutions.
• Develop agentic frameworks, governance solutions, architecture assessment tooling, and enterprise engineering platforms.
• Build scalable cloud-native applications and integrate APIs, distributed services, and relational, NoSQL, or vector databases.
• Apply generative AI, model orchestration, evaluation frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation, and responsible AI practices.
• Partner with architects, engineers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4 years of experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise software applications.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, software design patterns, scalable application architecture, testing, code quality, and SDLC practices.
• Hands-on experience with agentic systems and orchestration, RAG, prompt and context engineering, generative AI, or LLM applications.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms, model evaluation, AI governance, guardrails, risk management, and production cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to security, privacy, risk awareness, and responsible AI.

Nice to have

• Experience with model context protocols, vector databases, embeddings, or knowledge retrieval systems.
• Experience developing full-stack or backend applications in cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with agile development and cross-functional engineering teams.
