Compliance Manager (SaaS)

What you will do

• Develop expertise in Lucid’s products, technology stack, data storage, user workflows, and internal processes.
• Own SaaS compliance programs covering data mapping, privacy assessments, anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies, sanctions compliance, data retention, and vendor risk management.
• Maintain compliance documentation and deploy tools to track compliance OKRs, training initiatives, and program effectiveness.
• Monitor global SaaS regulations, with a focus on U.S. and EU developments, and report their impact.
• Manage controls for internal and customer-facing AI systems, including EU AI Act risk classifications and ISO 42001 alignment.
• Partner with business units to implement controls and deliver role-specific compliance training and awareness campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, legal, regulatory, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of privacy or compliance management experience in B2B SaaS, cloud-native, heavily regulated, law firm, or government environments.
• Operational understanding of GDPR, CCPA, emerging AI laws, consumer protection frameworks, and SaaS operations.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, analytical, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify control gaps, policy violations, and remediation paths, and to explain complex regulatory requirements in plain language.
• Foundational understanding of modern cloud software, SaaS operations, and technology-related regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• CIPP, CISA, or CRISC certification.
• Experience with OneTrust, Osano, Jira, CSI, SFDC, or Zendesk.
• Experience assessing transparency, explainability, bias, and automated decision-making risks in machine learning systems.
• Experience designing and scaling privacy workflows such as data mapping and DSR intake systems.
