TL;DR
Compliance and Privacy Manager (iGaming): Own and evolve the compliance and privacy framework for an international social gaming product company with an accent on GDPR, data protection, governance, and regulatory risk. Focus on building policies and controls, advising Legal, Product, Technology, HR, and Finance, and managing due diligence, incident response, audits, and compliance training.
Location: Malta; hybrid work arrangement.

What you will do
- Own and evolve the compliance and privacy framework, including policies, controls, governance, and risk assessments.
- Monitor regulatory and legislative changes, assess their impact, and coordinate required actions across the business.
- Oversee GDPR and data protection compliance, including ROPAs, DPIAs, data subject rights, retention policies, and privacy by design.
- Advise Legal, Product, Technology, HR, Finance, and senior leadership on practical compliance requirements.
- Manage third-party due diligence, compliance incidents, data breaches, audit support, and related documentation.
- Build and deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in compliance, privacy, data protection, or regulatory work in technology, gaming, fintech, or a similarly fast-paced environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of GDPR and data protection law, plus understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks.
- Experience building and implementing compliance policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Ability to advise operational teams and senior leadership and translate complex requirements into practical guidance.
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and able to identify issues and drive solutions.
Nice to have
- Professional qualifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or ICA.
