Senior Python Developer (AI)

Location: Budapest, XI.; on-site Monday to Thursday and remote on Fridays

What you will do

• Integrate the latest AI models into customer-facing features and workflows at scale.
• Develop, maintain, deploy, and improve software using Python and the existing technology stack.
• Design and scale distributed applications using synchronous and asynchronous patterns.
• Investigate technical feasibility, propose implementation options, and follow product increments through release.
• Build tools and frameworks for development, testing, deployment, management, and monitoring of 24/7 services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and other developers in an agile environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant software development experience with Python or a comparable language.
• Strong English and Hungarian communication skills.
• Familiarity with Python, Kubernetes, React, MySQL, and AWS.
• Experience understanding and improving existing codebases, including framework migrations and adding missing tests.
• Ability to identify system and product problems proactively and design well-organized, reliable code.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
