Senior Systems Administrator

Location: Hybrid in Ames, Iowa or Loveland, Colorado; US only

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Design, implement, operate, secure, and continuously improve critical infrastructure services.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware and virtualization platforms, storage, and datacenter infrastructure.
• Own DNS services, domain registrar activities, and DKIM, SPF, and DMARC email authentication controls.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle processes, including CSRs, issuance, renewals, and PKI support.
• Investigate and remediate external attack surface findings and high-risk vulnerabilities with security teams.
• Develop PowerShell automation and support backup and disaster recovery operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or platform operations experience in a regulated or business-critical enterprise environment.
• Deep hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, and VMware or other virtualization platforms.
• Experience with SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management, PKI workflows, and DKIM, SPF, and DMARC.
• Experience with external security vulnerability remediation and advanced PowerShell scripting and automation.
