Staff Software Engineer (React)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $202,500–$274,000 annual base pay, with potential bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Solve ambiguous customer problems with robust, elegant technical solutions.
• Lead the design and implementation of customer-facing web and mobile applications from concept through production.
• Contribute directly to project architecture and provide technical leadership in design, estimation, and code reviews.
• Mentor engineers and resolve complex programming challenges across teams.
• Diagnose and resolve defects across testing, pre-production, production, and post-release phases.
• Partner with product management, design, and business teams using Agile and Scrum delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience architecting and developing high-scale web applications.
• 7+ years of experience with React and JavaScript using single-page application architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Redux, React Native, modern web frameworks, Java, Python, relational databases, and large-scale data implementation.
• Experience with test automation, TDD, comprehensive integration testing, and AI-driven development tools.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and drive cross-functional alignment.
