Sr. Software Engineer - Advisor Experience (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship and ready to begin work in the U.S. on the first day

Base salary: $134,000–$209,000 USD annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead frontend development for the Advisor Experience Secure Messaging product.
• Design and maintain scalable frontend architecture, component libraries, state-management patterns, and client-side data layers.
• Translate advisor workflows, wireframes, and prototypes into polished, accessible interfaces with Product Design.
• Integrate frontend features with backend APIs and services and collaborate on API contracts.
• Improve accessibility, responsive design, frontend performance, and automated testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily focused on frontend development.
• Deep experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Svelte, or Vue.
• Experience building and maintaining component libraries, design systems, or shared UI infrastructure.
• Ability to navigate and contribute to backend code in Java, Node, or similar technologies.
• Strong frontend performance diagnostics and optimization skills across rendering and bundling.
• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ember.js migration.
• Experience with real-time data, messaging infrastructure, web sockets, or streaming APIs.
• Background or strong interest in fintech, wealth management, or financial advisor workflows.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
