Senior UI/UX Frontend Software Developer (Vue)

Location: Hybrid in Reston, Virginia or Washington, DC, with 90% remote work from home and occasional monthly visits to secured DC/VA/MD facilities or SCIFs

Salary: $170,000–$205,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop responsive web pages and applications for legacy and modernized systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement UI/UX solutions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps, and production-ready designs.
• Conduct user research, present designs to stakeholders, and incorporate feedback into iterative improvements.
• Establish UI/UX guidelines, design standards, and best practices.
• Support software customization, database design, and development and use of RESTful APIs.

Requirements

• Active or recent DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement and visit classified DC/VA/MD facilities or SCIFs occasionally.
• At least 9 years of professional UI/UX and frontend development experience.
• Hands-on frontend development experience with Vue.js or another modern framework such as Angular or React.
• Strong UI/UX design-to-development experience supported by a portfolio.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, responsive design, and graphical user interfaces.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and basic database design.
• Experience with TypeScript, jQuery, or Python.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
