UI/UX Frontend Software Developer (Vue)

Location: Hybrid in Washington, DC or Reston, Virginia, United States; 90% remote with occasional monthly visits to DC/VA/MD-area SCIFs

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop responsive web pages and applications for legacy and modernized systems.
• Design user flows, wireframes, storyboards, process flows, site maps, and graphical interfaces.
• Collaborate with product management, designers, and engineering teams to deliver UI/UX solutions.
• Present design concepts and milestone deliverables to stakeholders and incorporate user feedback.
• Establish UI/UX standards and improve usability, workflows, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to application-area database design and implement user stories independently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UI/UX design and development experience, including front-end development.
• Proficiency with Vue.js or a comparable front-end framework.
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Strong UI/UX portfolio, visual design skills, and ability to present design decisions to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, responsive design, HTML, CSS, and SQL databases.
• Active or recent Top Secret clearance with polygraph is required, with eligibility to obtain a CI Poly and access classified information.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs.
• Knowledge of user behavior, mission goals, and technology alignment.
• Experience with basic database design and modifying graphical user interfaces.
