FP&A Manager, Subscriptions

Location: Remote USA

Salary: $102,000–$216,000 annual base salary, depending on work location; additional bonuses, equity, and benefits may apply.

What you will do

• Serve as the finance business partner for a revenue business line, leading forecasting, planning, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Partner with the General Manager and cross-functional leaders on performance, strategic planning, resource allocation, growth, and profitability.
• Forecast and analyze subscription revenue drivers including acquisition, conversion, retention, activity, pricing, and user economics.
• Build and maintain consumer and subscription revenue models for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and long-range planning.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, operating reviews, and executive presentations for senior leadership and Board discussions.
• Lead budgeting, long-range planning, scenario modeling, risk assessment, and improvements to financial processes and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years of relevant finance experience, or 6+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with subscription, consumer, marketplace, or other recurring-revenue businesses is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of subscription revenue forecasting, conversion, retention, activity, unit economics, and GAAP accounting.
• Experience building revenue models and translating business drivers into actionable financial insights.
• Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills, plus experience with database management and sophisticated modeling tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in investment banking, management consulting, accounting, or corporate finance.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
