Senior Solutions Architect (Data & AI)

Location: Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, or other locations within the United States; customer travel of up to 30%.

Salary: $219,100–$301,300 USD annually, with potential annual performance bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Define and direct technical strategies for large enterprise accounts in retail, consumer goods, and travel.
• Serve as the primary technical voice for multiple customers while partnering with Enterprise Account Executives.
• Guide customers through evaluating and adopting Databricks as part of their data and AI strategy.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions and support proofs of concept and product demonstrations.
• Build networks of technical champions and establish virtual teams within customer accounts.
• Mentor other team members and provide technical leadership across engagements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales, technical account management, or technical leadership.
• Experience working with very large global accounts exceeding $1 million ARR.
• Technical expertise in big data, data science, cloud, and data-driven business transformation.
• Production programming experience with Python, R, Scala, or Java.
• Ability to build relationships with executives and influencers and present technical points of view to decision-makers.
• Ability to establish and lead virtual teams to successful outcomes within enterprise accounts.
