Salary: $130,000–$185,000 per year

What you will do

• Architect and lead end-to-end data solutions across AWS and Databricks, covering ingestion, processing, storage, access, and governance.
• Define scalable architecture patterns, reference implementations, data flows, and platform integrations.
• Translate business needs into secure, sustainable data architectures with product, delivery, engineering, and client-facing teams.
• Lead discovery and project initiation by shaping architectures, estimating effort, identifying risks, and guiding implementation strategies.
• Design data platform solutions for proposals, RFPs, and client engagements.
• Review architecture, validate technical implementations, and mentor data and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in solution architecture, data engineering, or platform engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on architecture experience with AWS services, Databricks, and Spark.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, governance, metadata management, streaming, batch processing, and real-time analytics.
• Experience designing secure, scalable APIs and data services and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of healthcare and government data security and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST.
