Applied AI Engineer (Agentic Systems)

Salary: $215,000–$280,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Build internal agentic workflows end-to-end on hirify.global, from prototypes through production.
• Automate support and go-to-market operations and integrate workflows with internal tools.
• Replace external tools with proprietary solutions where appropriate.
• Own production reliability through evaluations, guardrails, monitoring, and edge-case handling.
• Measure business impact by reducing support volume, accelerating go-to-market work, and cutting manual effort.
• Partner with support, GTM, and engineering to identify and iterate on high-leverage automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong backend orientation and the ability to understand systems end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with support or GTM workflows, including ticketing, CRM, sales operations, or customer-facing processes.
• Experience shipping production LLM or agentic systems with strong engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with three or more agent harnesses and at least one self-built agent harness.
• Ability to design reliable automation with quantitative evaluations, monitoring, security controls, permissions, and consideration of blast radius.
• Experience building internal tooling that earns adoption and balances high quality with disciplined delivery.
