Compensation Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote, United States residency required; headquarters in McLean, Virginia.

Salary: USD $77,655–$116,483 per year

What you will do

• Lead or support salary structure design, job architecture updates, market benchmarking, and compensation policy development.
• Administer salary planning, short-term incentive, spot bonus, and sales incentive processes, including modeling, eligibility, approvals, and communications.
• Develop compensation procedures, tools, training materials, and guidance for HR, business leaders, and employees.
• Partner with HR centers of excellence, HR business partners, recruiters, and business leaders on pay decisions, job evaluations, incentive plans, and compliance.
• Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, compensation surveys, and pay equity analyses.
• Use AI-enabled tools, automated workflows, and advanced analytics to identify pay compression, equity gaps, and market trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of applicable compensation administration experience.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with market pricing tools such as Payscale, Payfactors, or MarketPay.
• Experience with human capital management systems such as Workday, Oracle, or UKG.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder influence, judgment, integrity, and discretion.

Nice to have

• Certified Compensation Professional designation from WorldatWork.
• Advanced data and predictive analytics experience with Excel, Power BI, and Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Familiarity with equity awards, vesting schedules, related tax implications, and sales incentive plans.
