Compensation Analyst (Fintech)

Location: United States; flexible remote environment

Compensation range: $71,200–$106,800 USD annually, plus potential performance-based bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Support the administration, analysis, and improvement of base pay, short-term incentives, commissions, and other variable pay programs.
• Assist with annual compensation planning, including merit increases, bonus planning, system testing, validation, communications, and reporting.
• Prepare executive and Compensation Committee analyses, recommendations, presentation decks, and reporting.
• Perform market pricing, job evaluations, salary structure administration, and internal equity analyses.
• Build headcount budgets, workforce planning models, compensation forecasts, dashboards, and executive reports with Finance.
• Maintain compensation data in UKG and partner with HR Systems, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to ensure accurate administration and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
• At least five years of progressive experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a corporate compensation role.
• Experience with annual compensation planning, merit increases, incentive and bonus administration, and variable pay programs.
• Experience with market pricing, job evaluation, salary structures, internal equity analysis, and executive-level compensation materials.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, PivotTables, nested formulas, Power Query, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, reporting, dashboard creation, data visualization, communication, presentation, confidentiality, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with UKG Pro and UKG Business Intelligence (Cognos).
• Knowledge of long-term incentive programs, equity compensation, and stock plan administration.
• Certified Compensation Professional designation or progress toward certification.
• Experience supporting compensation initiatives during organizational growth, mergers, acquisitions, or business transformation.
