Staff Compensation Analyst (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, California, United States

What you will do

• Own the global compensation calendar and compensation and equity review cycles.
• Lead complex new-hire compensation and equity decisions using internal equity and market benchmarks.
• Audit historical records, clean legacy files, and maintain compensation data across Rippling, Greenhouse, and reporting systems.
• Prepare executive-ready benchmarking, equity budgeting, dilution analysis, and related analytics.
• Partner with HR, People Operations, Finance, and business leadership while handling confidential information.

Requirements

• 5+ years of global compensation analysis or equivalent analytical People or Finance experience.
• Expert Excel or Google Sheets financial modeling skills.
• End-to-end ownership of at least one full compensation cycle.
• Experience with multi-country, multi-currency salary structures and equity vehicles.
• Ability to communicate compensation, equity, and dilution concepts clearly to engineers, managers, and executives.
• Employment is contingent upon eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology and compliance with applicable U.S. export laws.
