Manager, Software Development, ENA Express Team, Annapurna Labs (C++/Rust Networking)

Salary: $212,700–$287,700 USD annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Lead the ENA Express software development team.
• Develop and improve EC2 networking capabilities using the Scalable Reliable Datagram protocol.
• Drive engineering across software, hardware, and network development lifecycles.
• Guide coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, certification, and live-site operations.
• Communicate technical designs, product features, requirements, and strategy with users, technical teams, and senior leadership.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and manage Software Engineers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with active programming proficiency.
• 3+ years of development experience in C, C++, or Rust.
• Hands-on experience with network packet processing.
• Experience developing in embedded environments, including NIC development.
• Knowledge of full software, hardware, and networking development lifecycles.
