Manager, Software Development, LibNVMe team - Annapurna Labs (Storage)

Location: Cupertino, CA, USA (Onsite)

Salary: $212,700 - $287,700 annually

What you will do

• Lead the team responsible for LibNVMe, the customer-facing front-end interface for EC2 local and remote storage.
• Manage a mid-sized team comprising senior, mid-level, and junior Software Development Engineers.
• Drive the evolution of storage features and performance optimizations to directly improve customer experience.
• Define software product features, technical designs, and product strategy in coordination with other technical teams and leadership.
• Oversee the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards and livesite operations.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Cupertino, CA.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering team management.
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with active programming proficiency.
• 3+ years of professional development experience in C, C++, or Rust.
• Strong expertise in Storage systems and the NVMe protocol, with familiarity with embedded environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks and engineering patterns for full-cycle HW/SW development.
