Focus on analyzing equipment issues, applying technical schematics and manuals, and performing maintenance safely across compressed 12-hour shifts.

Location: On-site in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. The role requires a compressed work week with three consecutive 12-hour shifts and alternating additional shifts, with availability for shifts 4, 5, 6, or 7.

Salary: $44,230–$73,010 USD annual salary range for the hourly role.

What you will do

  • Support wafer production operations, equipment activities, process functions, and training.
  • Perform preventive and corrective equipment maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and defect reduction.
  • Use technical manuals, specifications, schematics, drawings, test equipment, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Support Dry Etch department objectives across hirify.global's Ocotillo Technology Fabrication facilities, including Fab 52, Fab 42, Fab 32, and Fab 12.
  • Communicate equipment issues and solutions while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

  • One of the following: a high school diploma/GED plus 6+ months of Dry Etch 300mm semiconductor equipment maintenance experience; a high school diploma/GED plus one year of technical certification or trade school; a high school diploma/GED plus two years of hands-on technical experience; or an associate degree in a STEM field related to semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Ability to work on-site in a cleanroom for more than 90% of the shift while wearing required PPE and a respirator when needed.
  • Ability to work 12-hour compressed shifts, stand or sit for extended periods, walk approximately 2–4 miles per shift, climb ladders, and lift up to 35 pounds at least four times per day.
  • Ability to work near chemicals while following all safety procedures.
  • Analytical problem-solving, testing, communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

  • Military experience or advanced-node semiconductor manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in etch operations or hands-on maintenance of 300mm semiconductor equipment.
  • Experience creating equipment maintenance specifications, procedures, or business processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • Knowledge of process control systems and experience reading complex schematics and drawings.
