Manager IT Production Operations

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule in Toronto at 483 Bay Street, moving to the Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in approximately late 2026. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 152,000–176,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead a 24/7 production operations team and maintain coverage models including shifts and on-call support.
• Oversee monitoring of infrastructure, applications, data pipelines, batch processes, and file transfers.
• Manage workload automation and MFT platforms, including Control-M, Control-M MFT, and GoAnywhere MFT.
• Coordinate incident response, execute runbooks, escalate issues to L2/L3 teams and vendors, and support root cause analysis.
• Coordinate production readiness, release schedules, maintenance windows, and high-risk change mitigation.
• Oversee data centre operations, access controls, vendor engagements, operational metrics, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• Hands-on experience with workload automation and batch processing platforms.
• Experience operating Managed File Transfer platforms in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of secure data transfer protocols and best practices.
• Experience with incident response, operational recovery, and high-pressure decision-making.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and cross-team collaboration skills.
