Salary: 105,000–129,000 CAD

What you will do

• Design and enhance recovery solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Support and optimize isolated recovery environments (IRE) to ensure data integrity.
• Develop and maintain recovery runbooks and procedures.
• Execute recovery testing, including cyber and ransomware scenarios.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cyber, and architecture teams to align recovery strategies.
• Maintain recovery documentation and support internal audits.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering.
• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with disaster recovery, backup, and recovery technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Solid understanding of RTO/RPO, replication, and failover strategies.
• Ability to coordinate across teams and manage complex technical dependencies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cohesity platforms.
• Certifications in cloud, infrastructure, or resilience-related domains (e.g., AWS, Azure, DR/BC, ITIL).
• Exposure to ransomware recovery or cyber resilience strategies.
• Familiarity with automation, scripting (PowerShell, Python), or DevOps practices.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
